Hello, hello, hello again, and welcome to probably the hardest story to write in this whole series. Why? 'Cause I gotta get it STARTED, and then there's the time thing, and...and...other stuff, so please bear with me if it seems I've suddenly started writing like a fourth grader. DISCLAIMERS: Sailor Moon, all the other Sailor Senshi and other names and terms associated with the series are copyrighted by Naoko Takeuchi,Kodansha, Bandai, DIC and all the other companies (which I can't remember right at this moment A) I've used an overused plot device here, one that acts as a...well, you'll see. I guess I could've written it differently (dontcha just love neutral language?), but I didn't think of that until I sat down to write. Oh well. B) I DON'T SPEAK JAPANESE! Ask Alys--I've taken three years of Spanish, and while I can recognize Japanese on screen, and when listening, I don't trust myself to write it in. Which is way I took the lame way out...all of this is in English (except my Spanish expressions, always translated) and even if the word's not in the language, it is here. Call this Ninx form Japanese. C) I had LOADS, LOADS of trouble with the time frame here. Forgive me, I still haven't reasoned out which reference to use. D) I may bash some Senshi here--Mars, I believe, gets hit BADLY. I expected NO ONE to read this series! *g* But don't worry-- they'll be redeemed. E) Some of these people are real-life based. Check AUTHOR'S NOTES later on to see who! WHEW! That's mostly it! I'll thank people later, 'kay? Flames, comments, questions, virtual bouquets (*grin*) to jkc1984@niia.net. Onto it, then. THE FOUR LOVERS: INTERIM Prolouge The four boys came in as a set--paired to get through the doorway, silent until they reached their spot in the back of the room. They were juniors, in the upper levels of the high school echelon, and looking forward to graduating. They were also fairly used to the school routine, and one of their favorite conversation topics was WACKY things to do to relieve their boredom. However, this week, Mr. Niendor had done it for them. He'd called an early meeting of the Japanese club, making them get there at 6:45. All were slightly cranky to be up so early, but they held it in; what was the point of getting mad? Besides, they had more important things to talk about. "You still getting those phone calls?" one asked, his grey eyes stern yet soft. He was their newest member, and the oldest at 17. "Habla en japon," replied the thin, blond one who wore his hair slightly longer than most cared for. He usually pulled the curls back in a sort of ponytail, with enough hanging down to surrond and cushion his face. He, like the four of them, was an "honors" student of Japanese; he also took Spanish and knew a little German, adding these to his many areas of study. He liked to be in books, but he was also a decent listener and good cook. "Speak in Japanese?" "Si." "Sorry," he added, turning to the other blond in the group. He was taller, and while his blond hair had a curl, he preferred it short, almost cropped. He was an easy going guy, preferring low maintainence looks; mostly because he put most of his time in studies, sports, and women. And he had an easy time with all three; he was just born with such an easy going style that it all was...well, EASY. It was to him that he'd addressed his question, and who answered him now. "Yep. I barely checked my mail last night before my mom rushed in and ordered me off. She ended up on the phone for half the night!" he replied, voice gruff. "Know what it was about?" asked the last man of the group. His auburn hair was short and still managed to wave, despite the fact that it barely hit his collar. However, a strand of it always seemed to run across his forehead, the slender hair shadowing his deep brown eyes. He seemed serious, and could be DEEPLY intellectual when he wanted to--if he wanted to. Usually, though, he was more fun loving, often cruising around with... His thoughts--all their thoughts--were interupted by the sudden entrance of Mr. Niendor He called them to attention, and they took role; only a couple were missing. It was then that he smiled, and said in English, "As most of you know, I usually don't call meetings this early in the morning. However, I have a special announcement." With this, he waved to the door, and in shuffled a dark haired women and a small, nearly hidden girl, whose face and upper body were shrouded in shadow. However, quite suddenly, a tinge streaked through the four boys; they exchanged glances, they turned attentive eyes back to their teacher. "I am Mrs. Youm," said the brown haired lady. She slightly pushed the girl into the light, and their eyes narrowed at her long hair that streamed down her back, and her soft blue eyes, and the sudden presence she seemed to exude. Quickly, they tuned in the lady once more. "...and this is your exchange student, Serena Tsukino." A sudden shock ran up their spines, and they exchanged glances once more. they seemed to ask each other. But those were questions they couldn't answer. ----------------------------------------- HAH! Thought it was Mina, eh? *g* Yep, I'm using American names. Let's see, what else...hmm, yes, I guess I could give you a preview. Heck, I could give you the whole story, but you'd have to ask NICELY. *g* CHAPTER ONE: COMING TOGETHER CHAPTER TWO: NIGHT LIFE CHAPTER THREE: BLOND REVALATION CHAPTER FOUR: THE FINISHING TOUCH Oh, you want me to GIVE stuff away? With this shaky a start, doubt it! *g* THANKS TO: LIANNE! (cause she rules) ALYS! (cause she rules, too), Bunny, MJ and a host of others.
